The fall 2007 Sunday Christian Education term begins Labor Day
weekend on
September 2nd and runs through Sunday, November 25th.
Does God’s Word comfort you? Challenge you? Empower you? Change you?
Every Sunday morning an hour is set aside for your family to
experience
the comfort, challenge, empowerment and change that God
offers in Scriptures. Make the Sunday School hour a habit and
watch how God will bless that commitment!
The children in preschool through middle school
will be utilizing the new Walk with Me curriculum.
Senior highs will be studying the intertestmental period
of the Bible, using From Malachi to Matthew by Henry Voogd,
a religion professor for 36 years at Hope College in Holland,
Michigan.
Children and Youth will meet in their designated classrooms
with the teachers listed in the box on this page.
The Adults will have four classes available as follows:
Exploring the Text will be taught by Don Adams and Dean
Wilson
in the Parlor at 9:30 a.m. This class will explore the
same Walk With Me Scripture texts that the
children in grades K-5 will learn each week.
Wrestling with the Text will be taught by Nathan Everhart and
Bill Holmes in the Witherspoon Room at 9:30 a.m.
This class will study the weekly Revised Common Lectionary Bible
texts.
Called to Serve will be taught in the Witherspoon Room
by Del VonVolkenburg and team at 9:30 a.m. This class will
present the biblical view of leadership and help inform
and equip those who would like to learn more about serving
the Lord Jesus Christ in the Church.
The Book Discussion Class will meet in Room 116, taught by
Bill Sesler.
