Report on 2007 Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child began in the United States in 1993
with 28,000 shoe box gifts. Since then, the kids-helping-kids
project has collected many million more shoe box gifts and
hand-delivered them to needy children in more than 120 countries.

In 2006, more than 100,00 volunteers worldwide shipped 7, 629,081
shoe box gifts to touch the lives of children in the far reaches of the globe.

First Presbyterian Church of the Covenant serves as the
regional collection point for Erie County
and the surrounding area.

During the collection period in November 2007,
we received a total of 11,996 shoeboxes.
Praise God for this wonderful outpouring of His grace.
