Dean K. Wilson began serving in a volunteer capacity as
Director of Communications at
First Presbyterian Church of the Covenant in September of 2003
after he was forced to retire on permanent disability.

Raised in Bradford, Pennsylvania, Dean and his family were active members of the
Hill Memorial Evangelical United Brethren Church. During his formative years, Dean was active in Youth for Christ, his church youth group, the church choir, and sang in a traveling gospel quintet.

Dean graduated from Houghton College (NY) in 1968. Before assuming
his current duties, he spent 35 years working in the
insurance and consulting industries.

In July of 1968, Dean married the former Shirley Willink, who serves as
Music Associate/Organist and Children at First Presbyterian Church of the Covenant.
