Originally from Rock Falls, Illinois, Nick Hernandez most recently comes to Erie from Kent, Ohio. There Nick attended Kent State University and graduated in 2004 with a BA degree in History. Nick began campus ministry in 2004 serving as a staff-intern with the Coalition for Christian Outreach (CCO) at Kent State. In August of 2005, Nick accepted a CCO position serving as a Campus Minister with First Presbyterian Church of the Covenant.
Nick’s walk in the Christian faith began in high school. During his college years Nick grew in his faith through his involvement in a CCO campus fellowship group and a local Presbyterian church. Nick is excited about ministering to Gannon University students and co-directing the Kirk House.
